Brown-banded cockroaches grow up to 13 mm long and are typically reddish-brown in color with two thin brown bands on their wings. They are most commonly found in homes, but they can also be found in outdoor areas like trees and shrubs. These cockroaches are omnivorous scavengers that feed on decaying organic matter as well as food scraps left by humans. Females lay egg cases that contain about 16 eggs each; these cases take between one month and one year to hatch depending on temperature. The life cycle of a brown-banded cockroach is usually completed within one year under favorable conditions.

  • Oriental Cockroach

Oriental Cockroaches are shiny Black or Brown in color. They are commonly found in sewers, drains, under floorboards, and other dark damp places. These cockroaches prefer warm conditions and their life span is around up to six months. The female oriental cockroach can lay up to 50 eggs at a time. Oriental Cockroaches often feed on garbage and decaying organic matter. The oriental cockroach is also known as a water bug or black beetle.

  • Smoky brown cockroach

Smoky brown cockroaches are shiny dark brown and are strong fliers. They grow up to three-quarters of an inch long and have wings that cover their bodies when they fly. The smoky brown cockroach feed on decaying organic matter, so they may be found in sewers, drains, damp basements, under refrigerators or other appliances. These cockroaches prefer a moist environment and need water to survive.
